Our Story

In 1962, Auto Tech Service opened in downtown Lexington.  One of the first shops of its kind in the area, Auto Tech, focused on engine diagnosis and performance issues.  Compared to today’s technology advances of online training and data information retrieval, it was extremely hard and expensive to stay current on the ever changing world of automotive engineering.  With committed owners, loyal customers, and enthusiastic employees Auto Tech Service has emerged through hard economic times to become one of the leading independent repair shops in our area. We wish to thank our many loyal customers and business partners that have given us the means to become a strong company with a solid foundation.  The support and trust the community has placed in us over the years created lasting relationships that helped form our company to where it is today.
